Aureliusz Goliński

For over 25 years early music inspires him incessantly to explore creatively the sound language of previous epochs. Already during his studies in Academy of Music in Poznań he founded ensemble .Dankwart Consort, and few years later, with his wife, Ewa, he co-founded formation Arte dei Suonatori of whom he is artistic director and concertmaster.

In 1998, together with the group of musicians and musicologists gathered around the ensemble he initiated a cycle of regular concerts with the most brilliant artists from all over the world, entitled Muzyka dawna - persona grata. Since then, the orchestra became a host and initiator of six early music festivals in Poland and one in Copenhagen.

As the concertmaster, soloists and chamber musician he performed multiple concerts with Arte dei Suonatori; the mentioned projects, including orchestra and chamber music masterpieces, were presented all over the Europe and in United Stated.

He is also a teacher, leading with passion baroque violin and chamber music class in The Royal Danish Academy; as a lecturer he was also invited for masterclasses and workshops dedicated to the topic of early music performance (Poland, Pekin, Tallin).
